Far Hills, NJ (June 17, 2024) – Officers reported to the site of a deadly crash and confirmed that a Staten Island man on a motorcycle was killed Saturday, June 15, in the accident, which happened on Route 287 in Far Hills.
The 27-year-old victim was ejected from the Kawasaki motorcycle when he was involved in a crash with a Hyundai. The incident occurred Saturday before 11:30 a.m., though officers say the area of the roadway where the collision occurred remained closed for several hours.
State Police Sgt. In a statement released on Sunday, June 16, Jeffrey Lebron said no other serious injuries were reported. EMTs from the Far Hills fire rescue teams and area officers also assisted at the site of the incident, though it’s unclear how many people were involved in the wreck.
