Westampton, NJ (January 16, 2022) – On Sunday morning, January 16 a fatal crash took place at an intersection in Westampton.
According to Burlington County officials, the accident happened around 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of Oxmead Road and Hedding-Jacksonville Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two victims were thrown from one of the vehicles. The victims, who have not yet been identified, were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person was injured and rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
