Westampton, NJ (February 24, 2022) – Three people were injured in a house fire that took place on Thursday morning, February 24, in Westampton.
Burlington County officials confirmed that the fire broke out around 5:31 a.m. at 400 East Pennington Drive. Several crews arrived at the scene of the fire to find that the house was almost completely engulfed in flames and smoke. Fire crews entered the home so that they could make sure that everyone was out of the home.
Several responders, including paramedics, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two people were inside the home at the time of the fire and received injuries as a result. One of the victims sustained severe burns and had to be flown to the hospital by medical helicopter. Their current conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the incident, the area was blocked for a period of time. Fire crews and police worked together to clear the scene.
