West Chester, PA (April 29, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a serious car accident at a West Chester intersection on Friday afternoon, April 29.
According to local officials, the accident happened at 12:50 p.m. at the intersection of South High Street and East Barnard Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other West Chester responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. They were taken to the hospital by Good Fellowship Ambulance crews. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Police urged those traveling through to use caution near the intersection.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues at this time.
