Tuscarora Township, PA (December 23, 2024) – According to Pennsylvania State Police, one person is dead, and another was seriously injured late Sunday afternoon in a vehicle crash that took place in eastern Bradford County.
The crash took place at around 4:45 p.m. Sunday along U.S. Route 6 near the intersection with Kings Ridge Lane in Tuscarora Township, state police said. The deceased victim, a 49-year-old woman, was a passenger in a 2019 Chevrolet operated by a 20-year-old woman, according to troopers.
Despite life-saving measures, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman driving the vehicle sustained a severe head injury and was transported to Geisinger Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, state police said. Her condition is unavailable at this time. It’s unclear if anybody else was hurt in the incident. Police have not provided any details on what may have led to the crash, but officers are still investigating.
