Trenton, NJ (January 20, 2022) – Around 3:39 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 19, a car crash with injuries occurred in Trenton.
According to New Jersey Police, the accident happened at the intersection of NJ-130 and Groveville Road. A police cruiser and a passenger vehicle were traveling in the area when they allegedly collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged due to the accident.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Multiple victims sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. The parties were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center’s trauma center for treatment, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was completely blocked at the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
