Toms River, NJ (February 20, 2025) – Two pedestrians have died in a motor vehicle crash on Fischer and Cattus Island Boulevards, according to township police.
The accident was reported to police at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, according to police. Fischer Boulevard was closed to motor vehicle traffic on Tuesday night but reopened just before 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a text alert sent from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials also said they do not know the identity of the driver or the vehicle accused in this crash. However, no further details were released as officers confirmed that the crash remained under investigation. In the interim, officers asked any witnesses to come forward right away.
