Sullivan Twp, PA (February 13, 2023) – A local teacher was killed after being involved in a car crash in Sullivan Township on Saturday, February 11.
The deadly accident took place at the corner of Ritz and Aumick Roads at around 10:48 p.m. It was reported that a 47-year-old teacher from Troy was driving a GMC Acadia headed eastbound when she collided with a westbound Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 35-year-old Michael J. Brown.
The GMC caught fire due to the impact. Brown reportedly tried to free the victim, but she suffered fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was reportedly a teacher for over 15 years at Troy Area School District.
