Rollover Accidents in Pennsylvania
If you have been injured in a rollover accident and want to pursue damages from the negligent driver, you will be required to establish fault for the collision. If negligence is successfully established for a rollover crash, then the negligent driver will be liable for your damages.
Establishing fault can be relatively simple in certain situations but much more difficult to prove in others. If the at-fault driver has even the least competent of attorneys, they will attempt to shift as much of the blame for the crash as possible onto you and insist that you were wholly or partly to blame.
If the defendant is successful in pinning any portion of fault on you, it will negatively affect the amount of compensation you are entitled to.
You can help verify your version of events with various kinds of evidence, including:
- Pictures or videos of the collision scene, especially ones that show where the vehicles are positioned or any debris that was scattered
- Statements from witnesses
- A copy of your police report
- Pictures of the damaged vehicles
