Rahway, NJ (June 18, 2024) – Officers with the Rahway Police Department (RPD) have reopened a local roadway after a car crash occurred on Sunday, June 16, and apparent victim injuries were reported as a result.
Officers with the RPD said that the incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. that day and that there was a motor vehicle accident on the northbound side of Route 1. At least one victim was reportedly admitted to the hospital following the crash, which involved at least two drivers, but no information regarding their present condition was provided. As the collision was being investigated at the scene, police advised drivers to avoid the area. Witnesses were requested to notify the RPD with further details, and the RPD is handling the ongoing inquiry.
