Plymouth Meeting, PA (March 26, 2022) – On Tuesday, March 22, one person was killed in a fatal car crash in Plymouth Meeting.
According to Plymouth Township Police, the accident happened at 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of Germantown Pike and Virginia Road. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One of the drivers, who has not yet been identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Three other people were injured in the accident and were hospitalized. The parties are all expected to be okay.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes as police worked to clear the scene. This led to delays in the area for a period of time.
