Philadelphia, PA (January 14, 2022) – On Friday afternoon, January 14, a two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia Police confirmed that the collision happened at 12:33 p.m. on Girard Avenue around the area of PA-76. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when one struck the other from behind due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their identities and conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, a portion of the road was blocked in the area for some time.
