Philadelphia, PA (May 24, 2022) – Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department reported that multiple people were injured when a truck collided with an occupied school bus in l injuries after a truck crashed into a school bus in the Tacony community of Philadelphia on Tuesday, May 24th.
The accident took place at about 8:00 a.m. in the area of Knorr Street and Torresdale Avenue, near the Tacony Library when the driver of a pick-up truck ran a red light and collided with the side of an occupied school bus.
Rather than coming to a stop after the impact, the pick-up driver goes on to sideswipe several other vehicles.
Multiple children were taken to a local hospital, all in non-critical condition.
It is unknown if anyone in any of the other involved vehicles was injured.
