Philadelphia, PA (May 22, 2022) – A man was left with critical injuries when a motorcyclist was struck by a car on Saturday, May 21st in Northeast Philadelphia.
According to sources, at about 9:00 p.m., a 32-year-old man was riding his Yamaha motorcycle when he was hit by a Kia Soul at the intersection of Academy Road and Grant Avenue and Academy Road around 9 p.m.
The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital where he is in extremely critical condition with a broken pelvis and trauma to his head.
The 37-year-old driver of the Kia stayed on the scene until police arrived.
The crash is under investigation.
