Injuries Sustained in Pennsylvania Car Crashes
Unfortunately, in 2014, rear-end crashes were the second most frequent type of accident involving two cars in Pennsylvania. Every driver in Pennsylvania should exercise heightened caution since the Commonwealth records over 20,500 accidents involving several vehicles each year.
If you drive carelessly, a head-on collision with the car in front of you is almost inevitable. The leading cause of rear-end collisions in the Keystone State is motorists disregarding stop signs. It may be obvious who is at fault in a rear-end collision, but in other cases, the events leading up to the crash remain a mystery.
When there is damage to the front of an automobile, it is common practice to ignore the damage to the back. Still, fatalities can result from things like head-on collisions. Minor rear-end collisions can result in serious injuries and expensive property damage.
The severity of your injuries from a rear-end collision mostly depends on the other automobile’s rate. When one driver abruptly stops, the car following them often collides with the one that has stopped. If you’re stuck in traffic and need to keep moving ahead, you might be able to benefit from the car in front of you’s forward momentum. As soon as the passenger buckles up, the seat reclines to a more comfortable position. When traveling at high speeds, crashing into a seat or headrest can have disastrous results, some of which may not become apparent for several hours or days.
Someone else is accountable for paying for your medical expenses and missed wages if you were harmed in a rear-end incident and were not at fault.
After an accident that leaves their client permanently incapacitated, it is fairly uncommon for insurance companies to hunt for loopholes in order to avoid paying for a victim of an automobile accident’s long-term care as well as lost wages and earning potential. This practice is not commonplace. The next thing that needs to be done is figuring out how to provide evidence that the person did not inflict their own injuries on themselves.
