Philadelphia, PA (May 8, 2022) – Injuries allegedly occurred in a car accident that happened on a busy Philadelphia highway on Sunday evening, May 8.
The crash happened at 11:15 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 76, according to Philadelphia authorities. Several automobiles were traveling close to Girard Avenue, Exit 342, when they crashed for unknown reasons. The incident caused significant damage to the automobiles involved.
EMTs and fire rescue units were also dispatched to assist individuals in need. As a result of the collision, one or more people were injured and transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment, but their conditions are unknown at this time.
The traffic in the region was shut for a time due to the severity of the collision. Police completed the on-scene portion of their investigation shortly thereafter, but the no further information has been made available.
