Philadelphia, PA (March 24, 2023) – An accident involving two to three vehicles reportedly happened in the Philadelphia metropolitan region just after 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24. Officers added that the incident may have resulted in injuries.
According to the investigation conducted by the Philadelphia Police Department, the collision took place on southbound Interstate 95, not far from the exit for Highway 13. As two drivers merged lanes to the right, they were involved in a collision that resulted in substantial damage and wounded at least one person. The cause of the collision is yet unknown.
A number of first responders, including paramedics, firefighters, and others, were sent to the site of the incident. In the meantime, neither the status of the injured nor the severity of their injuries is known at this time.
The Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) is still investigating the cause of the collision and is now looking for witnesses to the incident at this time.
