Parsippany, NJ (July 13, 2024) – Officials are continuing to investigate a fatal crash in Parsippany on Wednesday, July 10, that killed an 8-year-old boy.
Officials said the child is believed to have been on a bicycle in the area of 189 Littleton Road when the driver of a 2022 Mazda CX5 hit him at about 5:35 p.m. First responders declared the boy dead at the scene, and he had not been identified as of Wednesday night.
The address that the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office office gave is for a residential complex. Officials have not released much more information about what happened. According to township police, Littleton Road was closed between Smith and Parsippany Roads for a time. Paramedics from Parsippany-Troy Hills EMS and Saint Clare’s Denville also responded to the scene.
