Fatal Vehicle Crashes in New Jersey
Fatal multi-vehicle accidents involving passenger vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, and buses happen daily in the Garden State. Thousands of individuals are tragically killed or wounded every year in these incidents, despite efforts by the government, automakers, and traffic experts to promote safe driving. In reality, New Jersey accounts for over 5% of the over 32,000 yearly fatal traffic accidents in the United States. More than 276,000 car accidents were reported to transportation officials in New Jersey in a single recent year, resulting in over 60,000 injuries.
Increases in traffic accidents occur despite better car and road safety, posing a threat to all drivers.
