Murrysville, PA (October 9, 2023) – A man is dead after a crash on Route 22 in Murrysville, per local authorities who responded to the scene.
Westmoreland County dispatchers say the crash happened at the intersection of School Road and U.S. Highway 22 at 8:05 p.m. on Saturday evening, October 7.
The Westmoreland County coroner said the man was hit by a red pickup truck while he was traveling south on School Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, but an investigation remains ongoing at this time. It’s also unknown if any other victims were hurt in the incident.
