Monroe, NJ (February 26, 2022) – Around 6 p.m. on Friday evening, February 26, one person was killed in a fatal car accident on a major Monroe roadway.
According to local officials, the accident happened on the Black Horse Pike near the area of Maxine Road. It is believed that several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. It is not known if anyone was injured in the crash.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
