Lower Pottsgrove, PA (May 22, 2022) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after getting struck by a vehicle in Montgomery County on Monday, May 16th.
Officials said that the incident took place at about 6:30 p.m. on East High Street.in Lower Pottsgrove Township.
The fire chief said that two trucks were heading westbound on East High Street. As they approached a traffic light, one of the trucks slowed down, but the second truck did not and crashed into the back of the first truck.
The first truck was shoved off of the roadway, and into a person standing outside in front of a local business.
Police did not immediately comment on the pedestrian’s condition.
Neither truck driver was injured during the crash.
