Fatal Car Crashes in New Jersey
Thousands are injured or killed in car crashes in New Jersey on a daily, weekly, and yearly basis. Even though most of these collisions are mere fender benders or rear-end wrecks, where property damage and injuries are relatively limited, victims of any type of accident may suffer significant injuries. Nearly 60,000 persons in New Jersey were hurt in motor vehicle accidents only this year alone.
Hundreds of car accidents occur daily and weekly throughout New Jersey, some of which are minor and others incredibly severe. These accidents occur in the blink of an eye in many areas, but intersections are known for being some of the most common places. Car accidents take many forms, though the most catastrophic are head-on collisions. Moreover, only 2% of total accidents occurring across our country are head-on collisions.
Head-on collisions generally occur on two-lane roads, highways without medians, and any other areas where visibility or speeds may be higher. In addition, these kinds of car accidents have the strong potential to change your life forever and can occur in a second. But no matter the cause of your collision, when you’ve been hurt in an accident that was not your fault, you can and should consult with an attorney who will advocate on your behalf.
