Motor Vehicle Crashes in Pennsylvania
Research and statistics from the last year show that in the state of Pennsylvania, head-on collisions, T-bone collisions, and rear-end collisions are the most common forms of vehicle accidents. Drivers in Pennsylvania need to be extra cautious since the state averages over 20,000 accidents involving multiple cars each year.
For example, rear-end incidents frequently happen as a result of careless driving. In Pennsylvania, the majority of rear-end collisions are caused by drivers who are negligent and reckless and who do not pay attention to traffic signals. In addition, while it is usually easy to determine who was at fault in a car accident, it can be much more difficult than you might expect.
If you were not responsible for the accident, the individual who crashed into you from behind and caused you significant injuries should be held accountable for covering your medical expenses and lost income. Sadly and unjustly, the insurance company may frequently dispute claims for long-term care costs and reimbursement for lost wages and future earnings when a policyholder has been involved in a car accident and has sustained several injuries.
