Chester, PA (March 27, 2022) – At 6:30 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, March 26, a multi-vehicle collision took place in Chester.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Kerlin Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in all northbound lanes of traffic for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
