Alpine, NJ (March 2, 2025) – According to New Jersey State Police, one person was killed and several others were injured in a crash early Friday on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Alpine near the New York state line.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 6:00 a.m. in the highway’s southbound lanes, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
One occupant died at the scene, while multiple others sustained serious injuries and were taken to a local hospital. In the meantime, officials of the Bergen County Fatal Accident Task Force have launched an investigation alongside the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department.
