Nikolay Lukin has a diverse educational background and an expansive set of skills, which makes him a valuable associate with Spear Greenfield. With an educational background in physics, Nikolay has the ability to craft an understandable explanation of the physics surrounding an accident, which is an advantage in the courtroom. Having lived in three different countries, Nikolay has also learned to successfully communicate and relate to a wide spectrum of people, which makes him effective when working with clients or representing in the courtroom.
Nikolay obtained his Bachelor and Master’s Degree in thermal physics. While he enjoyed the hands-on work in a physics lab, Nikolay would eventually pursue a path as an attorney, because he wanted a career that positioned him to help injury victims restore their damages and allowed him to hone his communication skills. This led Nikolay to earn a JD from UIC John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Through his law school education, Nikolay quickly realized that personal injury law shapes our everyday lives, such as incentivizing property owners, manufacturers, and municipalities to make our environment safer.
Nikolay’s pastimes include spending time with his family, practicing Judo wrestling, and teaching physics. As an attorney at Spear Greenfield with a physics science background, Nikolay associates his two disciplines by recognizing that physics is used to invent new and exciting things, while personal injury law helps make the application of new inventions and ideas safer!
