Marc F. Greenfield wears many hats for Spear Greenfield, as a trial attorney, a lawyer, and a managing partner. As a trial attorney and lawyer, Marc has tried hundreds of cases to verdict, but just as noteworthy, he has started an equal number of trials only to force the other side to settle before verdict. As a managing partner, Marc is involved in every aspect of Spear Greenfield’s operation and is a leader within the law firm.
Marc’s success can be attributed to his work ethic and his compassion for his clients. Marc is known around the firm for logging long work hours, which the majority of those hours are dedicated to clients. Marc always strives to secure the most compensation for his client’s injuries, because he truly cares.
Before Marc became a lawyer, his interests were in the computer and electronics fields. He worked with computer magazines internationally on a service that predated the world wide web. Upon graduating from college, Marc’s interests in the legal arena prevailed. Because of his legal interest and a background as a competitive debater in high school, Marc knew that he wanted to be a trial lawyer. His goal was not just to represent the injured and people in need, but Marc strived to be the kind of lawyer who goes to court and pushes the other side to compensate his clients with the most money.
In law school, Marc practiced through clinical programs with the City of Philadelphia Solicitors Office and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Through his legal aspirations, Marc did not lose his computer and electronics interests. In fact, he used that technical knowledge to incorporate technology and organization to advance the legal practice and in turn his client’s cases.
