Philadelphia, PA (April 24, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a multi-vehicle collision that took place on a highway in Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon, April 24.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened around 3:54 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of exit 30, Rhawn Street. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control and collided with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
