Philadelphia, PA (March 27, 2022) – Serious injuries resulted from a car crash that took place on a roadway in Philadelphia on Sunday morning, March 27.
According to Philadelphia Police, the accident happened at 5900 Ogontz Avenue in the Ogontz part of the city at 1:30 a.m. A driver in a black Mercedes was pulling out in the area when his vehicle was struck by a woman driving a white Mercedes. Both vehicles sustained heavy damages due to the accident.
Several local responders, including Philadelphia paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Three people inside the black Mercedes sustained injuries as a result. The male driver received the most severe injuries and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The female driver of the other vehicle was also hurt.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
