Berlin, NJ (January 26, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that happened at an intersection in Berlin on Wednesday afternoon, January 26.
According to local officials, the accident happened at 2:55 p.m. at the intersection of NJ-73 and Franklin Avenue. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained serious injuries in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, the right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time. The roadway was blocked back to Cooper Road until police cleared the scene.
