Rear-End Crashes in Pennsylvania
In 2014, rear-end collisions were the second most common collision involving two Pennsylvania automobiles. Due to the fact that over 20,500 multiple-vehicle collisions occur annually in Pennsylvania, every motorist in the state should exercise heightened vigilance.
It goes without saying that if you drive recklessly, an eventual rear-end collision may be all but certain. In fact, the most common cause of rear-end incidents in Pennsylvania is drivers who violate stop signs. In a rear-end accident, it may be evident who is at blame, but in other circumstances, the events leading up to the incident remain a mystery.
When there is damage to the front of a vehicle, it is customary to disregard the rear damage. Nonetheless, deaths may ensue from incidents such as head-on collisions. Minor rear-end incidents may cause severe injuries and costly property damage.
The severity of your injuries in a rear-end accident mostly relies on the velocity of the other vehicle. When a motorist stops suddenly, the automobile behind them often collides with the halted vehicle. If you’re stopped in traffic and need to keep going forward, you may be able to use the forward momentum of the automobile in front of you.
As soon as the passenger fastens his or her safety belt, the seat reclines to a more comfortable position. Crashing into a seat or headrest while driving at high speeds may have devastating consequences, some of which may not be obvious for many hours or days.
If you were not at fault for a rear-end collision and were injured, you may be able to get robust recompense to cover your medical bills, lost earnings, and other damages.
After an accident that permanently incapacitates their client, it is common for insurance companies to look for loopholes to avoid paying for a vehicle accident victim’s long-term care as well as lost income and earning potential.
