Philadelphia, PA (May 21, 2022) – A man was killed during a two-vehicle crash that caused one car to spin out of control on the morning of Saturday, May 21st.
According to police, a 38-year-old man driving a Chevy Equinox northbound along Broad Street was involved in a collision with an oncoming Chevy Suburban when the driver attempted to make a lefthand turn in front of him.
The impact caused the Equinox to spin out, striking a tree and a utility pole. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene. His identity has not been released pending family notification.
The driver of the Suburban, a 68-year-old male, and his 72-year-old female passenger, were both in stable condition.
Officers have said that, although the crash is still under investigation, charges are pending.
